23.1.1973 eruption started on the island Heimaey the was 5200 peaple living on the island at that time

2010 was desided to get the names of the people that was on the Heimaey that night and get info how they flew from the Eruption that night , in november we had got names of 4900 persons  and info of there escape

We made this webpage so all were able to get the look for relatives and see how they flew
we did also collected some photos, storys and videos at the same time 

but most of the storys ar in Icelandic
